JKNPP to buy back 'sold children' of migrants

Jammu, Apr 2 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party(JKNPP) president Bhim Singh today described the alleged 'sale of children' in the Talwars(Reasi) migrant camp in the Udhampur district of the state as an unfortunate incident and said the party will buy back all the sold children.

Prof Singh in a statement released here cautioned and served a notice to such people who had bought children from the hapless migrants adding the party will pay all the payments received by the parents in lieu of sale of their children.

He at the same time declared that JKNPP and member of NIC will set up Migrant Children Blossom School in Reasi for the protection, educational and medical care of the minor children of the migrants of Rajouri, Poonch and Udhampur, Doda who were leased, sold or mortgaged for survival.

Prof Bhim Singh also declared that if the Congress did not tender apology on the incident, the migrant children sale-mandi would be held in front of the Rashtrapati Bhawan, Prime Minister's residence and in Rae Bareli (Sonia Gandhi's constituency) to expose the Congress government in the state and the UPA at the Centre.
