Immigration officers detain man trying to flee

Kolkata, Apr 2 (UNI) Karnail Singh, a resident of Gurudaspur in Punjab was detained by the immigration officials at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport last night while he was trying to flee to Bangkok, officials today said.

A 'look-out-notice' had been issued by the Mumbai police against Karnail sometime ago in a cheating case.

His pictures were circulated to all airports and railway station authorities. He was later handed over to the police today.
