Hyundai to set up manufacturing and R and D centre
Hyderabad, Apr 2 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy today said his government has alloated 42 acres of land to the Hyundai Motor Group, the premier automobile company to set up an R and D centre in the city.
Welcoming a five member Korean delegation led by Hyundai motor group President, R and D, Lee Hyun Soon here, Dr Reddy said the state government has agreed to provide 42 acres of land as desired by the company for the R and D unit.
The company was also contempleting a manufacturing facility near Tada, Nellore district in the near future.
Dr Reddy also explained various incentives and facilities that the government was offering for new industries and projecting the state as the ultimate destination for manufacturing unit.
He directed the officials concerned to take steps immediately and allot the site of the comapany's choice, an official release said.
