Five fire fighters injured in accident
Lucknow, Apr 2 (UNI) Five fire-fighters were injured when the fire brigade vehicle they were on was hit by a speeding train at an unmanned railway crossing in Allahabad district of Uttar Pradesh.
Government Railway Police (GRP) sources said here today that the mishap occured late last night in the Prayag chowki area, when the fire brigade vehilce with five on duty personnel on board was hit by a goods train at the unmanned railway crossing.
All the five fire-fighters were injured in the accident and rushed to the hospital. The rail traffic on the route, however, remained unaffected, sources added.
