Congress concerned over attack on scribes
Patna, Apr 02 (UNI) Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee(BPCC) has expressed concern over the recent attack on a scribe associated with a National Weekly in Patna.
BPCC President Sadanand Singh today visited the residence of victim Sanjay Jha and offered his heartfelt sympathy over the incident. He demanded proper security arrangement for the scribes as the attacks on them have increased during the past weeks.
Mr Singh demanded stern action against the persons involved in the incident and also against the police officials who were found slack in performing their duty.
Mr Singh offered Rs five thousand on behalf of his party and said "arragements should be made for the treament of Mr Jha in New Delhi at government expenditure." UNI XC RS BA KLC1626
