Candidates PSO opens fire to disperse mob.

Guwahati, Apr 2 (UNI) The personal security officer of CPI(M) candidate Rangiya Ananta Kalita had to resort to blank fire to disperse a mob, which had gheraoed the candidate in the constituency going to poll tomorrow.

The CPI(M) later filed an FIR, alleging that the group belonged to rival candidate and tried to kidnap Mr Kalita, police said.
