Bomb hoax calls continue in Mumbai
Mumbai, Apr 2 (UNI) An anonymous call at around midnight last night stating that a bomb was planted in a building at Kamathipura street, turned out to be a hoax.
Following the call, which was received at 2341 hours yesterday, the bomb disposal squad swung into action but nothing was found.
Earlier in the day yesterday, Mahim Railway police had received a call claiming that a bomb had been planted on platform number one of the Mahim Railway station which had created panic amongst the passengers but it had turned out to be a hoax call.
This is the fifth bomb hoax call received by city police within the last forthnight. Out of five calls, four were received by railway police, first call was at Chhatrapatti Shivaji Terminus, second at Dadar railway station, third at Bandra railway station and fourth at Mahim.
