Bhim Singh dissolves J

Jammu, Apr 2 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) president Bhim Singh today dissolved the state unit and province bodies of the party on the recommendation of its Central Working Committee(CWC).

According to a press release of the party, the CWC also authorised Prof. Singh to reconstitute state and provincial committees.

Meanwhile, Prof. Singh clarified that newly elected district units will not be effected from the decision adding that a five member parliamentary board comprising of Mr. Harshdev Singh, Mr B.B.

Kotwal, Mr Balwant Singh Mankotia, Mr Faqir Nath and Ghulam Mohd Shan has been constituted under his chairmanship.

The working committee in its meeting yesterday in Jammu had authorised the chairman to nominate candidates for the three assembly seats in the valley and approved the resolution to leave Bhaderwah assembly seat for Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad as a gesture of good will, as he is the first ever Chief minister from Jammu region.
