Poll promises will be fulfilled with 'INDIRAMMA': YSR
Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 1 (UNI) Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said all election promises will be fulfilled with the implementation of ''INDIRAMMA'' (intergrated development in rural areas and model municipal areas) Scheme.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for Rs 50 crore Bodaskurru Pasarlapudi Bridge, Dr Reddy said the poll promises would be fulfilled once the ''INDIRAMMA'' Scheme which provides for creation of infrastructure in villages, was executed.
Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways K H Muniappa said the UPA Government would support the state in meeting its requirements for development.
A report from West Godavari District said the ''INDIRAMMA'' Scheme was launched in Penumanchili Village by State Forest Minister Ch Vijayarama Raju.
Addressing a gathering, the Minister said under the scheme 1.02 lakh houses would be constructed in 318 selected villages in a year.
