Jalandhar, Apr 1 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will have no objection if Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), its ally, opted to join hands with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) for the Punjab Assembly elections to be held early next year.

Talking to reporters here today, BJP national joint secretary R P Singh and state president and Member of Parliament Avinash Rai Khanna said that the alliance between BJP and SAD would continue in the next Assembly elections in the State.

They said that the question of BSP's alliance with SAD was still an imaginary one as there was no such move so far.

However, if SAD opted to make such a move at any point of time, the BJP would be having no objection and its allaince with the latter would remain intact.

The BJP leaders said that a state level six-member coordination committee comprising three members each from SAD and BJP would be constituted soon for a better coordination between the two parties.

This committee would report to SAD President Parkash Singh Badal and the BJP State President, Mr Khanna.

Similar committees would be formed at the district level too, they said.
