NDFB top brass in D-Voter's list

Guwahati, Apr 1 (UNI) The top brass of National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) have found their names in the 'doubtful' voters list published by the Election Commission (EC).

''This is quite unfortunate,'' NDFB Secretary General Gobinda Basumatary said here today.

According to him, 10 top members of the NDFB are in the 'doubtful' voter's list.

The NDFB had been demanding a separate independent homeland for the Bodos and waged war with the Centre till May last year when they had entered into a ceasefire with the government.

The NDFB cadres now live in designated camps near Indo-Bhutan border.
