Moderate density earthquake hits Indonesia

New Delhi, Apr 1 (UNI) A moderate intensity earthquake struck off the Talaud island in Indonesia early this morning, the meteorological department here said.

The quake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale, had an epicentre at 03.9 degrees north latitude and 126.4 degrees east longtitude and occurred at 0245 hrs IST.
