Missing foreign tourist's daughter arrives in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 1 (UNI) Daughter of missing foreign tourist Huange Sui Chin has arrived here from Taiwan to trace her.

Resdenda Chin, who has come with a friend, said she was confident that her mother will return soon.

''My mother loves adventure and she will be back as we have a marriage in the family'', Resdenda said.

Resdenda said her adventure-loving mom had visited a number of countries including North Africa, Nepal and Mangolia and even then had not contacte her family.

She expressed hope that her mother will be back by April five to catch a return flight from Delhi.

She said her mother had left a bag in the houseboat, now under the custody of police. It did not contain any valuables, she added.

Meanwhile, there was no response from any quarter to an appeal issued by the police in the local media which said any person providing any clue about 52-year-old Huange would be suitably rewarded.

She arrived here on March 22 and stayed in a houseboat in the famous Dal Lake. However, she left immediately for an internet cafe and did not return.

Later, the houseboat owner informed the tourist police and a massive hunt was launched to trace her.

A missing case was registered at the Nehru Park police station after failing to trace her.

All her belongings including her passport are now with the police.
