Former MLA passes away

Hubli, Apr 1 (UNI) Former Karnataka legislator Govindappa Juttal died at his residence at Kundgol in Dharwad district today after prolonged illness.

He was 65. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.

Mr Juttal was elected to the state Assembly from Kundgol on the Congress ticket. Though he had later joined the Janata Dal (Secular), he returned to the Congress recently.
