Cong Govt misusing power: TDP

Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 1 (UNI) TDP Official Spokesman and Rajya Sabha Member M V Mysoora Reddy has accused the ruling Congress Government of misusing power and corruption.

Speaking to newsmen here, Mr Reddy rued these issues had not come up for discussion before the just concluded Assembly session.

He charged Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy with failure to discharge his duties as the Assembly Floor Leader, particlularly on Yellampalli Project issue.

Mr Mysoora Reddy alleged that corruption had become rampant with contractors close to the ruling dispensation siphoning off funds while executing major irrigation projects.

On separate Telangana, the TDP leader reiterated the party's commitment to United Andhra Pradesh.
