Charges framed against minister

Ranchi, Apr 1 (UNI) A Hazaribagh court has framed charges against state Science and Technology Minister Chandra Prakash Chaudhary and his two accomplices in connection with attack on colliery employees in the Kopara mines of the Central Coalfields Limited.

According to the prosecution, Mr Chaudhary and his two aides allegedly attacked the colliery employees on July 31, 2004 and forcefully stopped the work.

The minister appeared in the court of first class Judicial Magistrate A K Dubey yesterday, who framed charges against the three under sections 341, 447, 323, 332 and 504 of IPC.
