Chairman LC constitutes House Committee

Jammu, Apr 1 (UNI) Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council Abdul Rashid Dar has constituted a House Committee to enquire if irregularities have been committed in the appointments of state government employees.

Prof Bhim Singh has been nominated as Chairman of the Committee and other members are Nazir Ahmad Mir, Ashok Kumar Sharma and Bilal Ahmad Khan Lodhi. The committee would probe the appointments of Class IV, Junior Assistants, Inspectors and other posts in the Custodian Department and allotment of the custodian property in Jammu and Srinagar by the Custodian Department, since 2002.
