Bhaskar appointed electoral officer of AP

New Delhi, Apr 1 (UNI) The Election Commission has approved the appointment of Mr V Bhaskar, an IAS officer of 1980 batch, as Chief Electoral Officer of Andhra Pradesh.

Mr Bhaskar will replace Mr M Naraina Rao who was shifted after countermanding of Vishakhapatnam byelection, an official spokesman said today.
