Arms unit busted in UP, one held

Mainpuri, Apr 1 (UNI) An illegal arms unit has been busted in this central district of Uttar Pradesh and one person was arrested in this connection.

Police Superintendent K Satyanaraynan said here today that on being tipped off, a raid was conducted last night in the Devamai village and an illegal arms unit busted. One person, Santosh was arrested in this connection from the spot.

Arms, ammunitions and equipments have been seized from the possession of the arrested, Mr Satyanaraynan added.
