American Library extends office hours

Kolkata, Apr 1 (UNI) The American Information Resource Center here, better known as the American Library, has decided to extend its service hours from 11-00 hours to 19-00 hours and remain open even on Saturdays from tomorrow.

The decision to keep the Library open on Saturdays was taken in response to public request to enable users to browse through books, periodicals, and videos, American Library sources said yesterday.

Special events such as 'The World Book Day' celebration and showcases of new book and audio-visual collections would also be held on Saturdays.
