Silver and gold touches highest peak

Mumbai, Mar 31 (UNI) Prices of silver and gold touched the highest peak of Rs 17,405 per kg and Rs 8,530 per ten gm respectively today in the closing session, traders at the bullion market here said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 17,405 (15,755), Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,490 (8,200), Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 8,530 (8,240).
