No clean chit to Sanjay Joshi: MP Cong

Bhopal, Mar 31 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Congress has contested the claim that Hyderabad-based forensic laboratory has given clean chit to senior BJP leader Sanjay Joshi in the infamous sex scandal.

''The fact is that the forensic laboratory has said that the CD has been tampered with and the photographs had become hazy and distorted,'' Congress General Secretary and spokesperson Manak Agrawal told reporters here.

He said it was clear that the laboratory's report had said that it was not possible to identify the person in the CD.

The Congress leader alleged that Mr Joshi had a role in tampering the electronic record.

Questioning the state government's role in the case, he said it was clear that effort had been made to protect Mr Joshi and demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter.

The forensic laboratory report had stated that photographs of Mr Joshi as provided by the state police did not match with the man in objectionable position with a woman in the CD.
