Motorcyclist killed in road mishap

Mysore, Mar 31 (UNI) A man was killed when the motorcycle on which he was riding collided with a car, belonging to the Additional Superintendent of Police, on Mysore-Nanjangud road today.

Police said the mishap occurred when the motorcyclist, Mahadeva, was returning to the city from Nanjangud. The police officer, who was on his way to Nanjangud, escaped unhurt.

Police seized the car and took its driver into custody.
