LET activist arrested in Gulbarga

Gulbarga, Mar 31 (UNI) Gulbarga police have arrested an activist of the Laskhar-e-Toiba militant organisation and recovered two grenades and an AK-47 from him, District Dupreinendent of Police Dr K Ramachandra Rao said today.

Mr Rao told newspersons here that the LeT activist was staying in a residential area in the city and was nabbed last evening.

The militant identified as Abdul Rehman (31) arrived here yesterday by the Chennai-Mumbai Mail.

Literature pertaining to jihad was also recovered from him, he added.
