Kamal Nath reviews CECA with Singapore

Singapore, Mar 31: The Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry, Kamal Nath, who is in Singapore to review the implementation of the India-Singapore Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA), today called on Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong.

''During the warm 40-minute meeting, Senior Minister Goh and Minister Nath had a constructive discussion on how to improve the CECA,'' said a statement from the Singapore Prime Minister's Office.

Mr Goh and Mr Nath also discussed the proposed Special Economic Zone project that Singapore intends to develop in India and how Singapore could be a catalyst for attracting foreign investments into India, the statement said.
