Father rapes daughter

Ludhiana, Mar 31 (UNI) In a shocking incident, a father allegedly raped his 16-year-old daughter at Tajpur road area under Division No 7 Police Station here.

Police said accused Sanjeev Kumar raped his daughter, a student of class ten, when she was alone in the house.

Sanjeev had divorced his wife few years back and married another woman, who at the time of the incident was away to her relatives place, police said.

After the medical examination of the girl, police registered a case under section 376 of the IPC against Sanjeev Kumar, who is still at large.
