EC bans Govt hoardings

Kolkata, Mar 31 (UNI) The Election Commission has directed to remove all hoardings and banners declaring achievements of the West Bengal Government as part of its effort to enforce the Model Code of Conduct.

Chief Electoral Officer Debasish Sen today said the EC order had exempted the hoardings for social awareness from the restriction.
