Col Dhillon's ashes reach Ambala

Ambala, Mar 31 (UNI) The ashes of Col B S Dhillon of the Indian National Army (INA), formed by Netaji Subhash Chander Bose, were received by the Deputy Commissioner J P Kaushik at Mohra on the border of district Ambala this evening.

Col Dhillon had died at Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh last month.

His ashes were being taken to Kiratpur in Punjab for immersion.

A large number of people from the district paid their last tribute to the freedom fighter.
