Chain-snatcher arrested

Pune, Mar 31 (UNI) The police here today arrested one person for his alleged involvement in a series of chain-snatching cases in the city over the past three months.

Additional Commissioner of Police Rajendra Singh told reporters that the arrested person, Rahim Sattar Shaikh, is suspected to have committed at least fifteen such offences.

Stolen gold ornaments worth around Rs three lakh have been recovered from the Shaikh.
