Youth rapes mother, offence registered

Nagpur, Mar 30 (UNI) In a shocking incident, a 24-yr-old youth allegedly raped his own mother, police at Ajni station here said.

According to police, the 60-yr-old victim filed a complaint yesterday that her son - Anmol Kamble raped her when she was taking bath at her home in Jogi Nagar locality of the city on March 24.

She also mentioned in her complaint that since it was her own son who committed the heinous crime, she left home in fen and stayed with her relatives in another locality for some days.

Police said a case has been registered against Kamble, who is a history-sheeter and was an accused in the recent murder case of a rickshaw-puller in the city.

The accused has been absconding since he committed the crime, police said and added that a search has been launched to nab him.
