Uddhav, Joshi to attend party's workshop for panchayat members
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Mar 30 (UNI) Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray and senior leader Manohar Joshi would attend the party's training workshop for the grampanchayat members here on April one.
Party's deputy leader and MP Chandrakant Khaire told mediapersons here today that more than 5,000 members of various grampanchayats in the district are expected to attend the day-long training session to be held at the Eden-Garden hall in Mukundwadi locality here.
According to him, the objective of the session is to create awareness among the grampanchayat members about the various Government schemes for the rural development and their implementation in the villages.
Mr Joshi and party's MLAs and MPs would also guide the panchayat members on the occasion, he said.
Later that evening, Mr Uddhav Thackeray will address a public rally at the city's TV centre locality. It would be his maiden rally after his cousin Raj Thackeray left the Sena to launch his new party Nav Nirman Sena.
