Two arrested with 950 gm heroin

New Delhi, Mar 30 (UNI) Two persons have been arrested with 950 grams of heroin in separate raids in East Delhi, Delhi police said.

Naeem Qureshi (25) and Sarfudeen (55), hailing from Bulandshehar and Bareilly districts of Uttar Pradesh, were arrested in raids at Anand Vihar and Sultan Puri, yesterday.

The raids, following tip offs, led to the recovery of the contraband.

Naeem and Sarfudeen were carrying 200 and 750 gms of heroin with themselves, police said.

Efforts are on to arrest the suppliers and intended recipients in both cases, a police statement said.
