New Delhi, Mar 30 (UNI) Taking a leaf from expelled Madhya Pradesh leader Uma Bharti's 'padyatra' rpt 'padyatra', suspended BJP stalwart Madan Lal Khurana is embarking on a 'Rath Yatra' in Delhi next month.

Details of the 'yatra' would be announced next week, Mr Khurana, who was suspended from the party on March 19 for attending a strong rally organised by Ms Bharti here, told reporters.

He refused to comment when asked if the 'yatra' will start ''before or after April 6'' -- when former BJP president L K Advani and party chief Rajnath Singh are to start their own 'Bharat Suraksha Yatras'.

But, to questions, he admitted that Ms Bharti has offered support to his ''struggle to save Delhi'' from court-ordered demolitions and large-scale sealing of shops in residential areas.

''On this new year, Vikram Samvat 2063, I pledge to take out a Rath Yatra under the banner of 'Delhi Bachao Morcha' to stop the destruction of Delhi -- the temple I have worshipped as a pujari all these years,'' he said.

The former Chief Minister said he would court arrest in West Delhi tomorrow against the sealing drive and appealed to ''all workers of the BJP and other parties'' to join him in the struggle.

Even while refusing to answer ''political questions'', he maintained that the ''biggest mistake'' he made in his political life was to have accepted Mr Advani's advice to resign as Chief Minister of Delhi mid-term in 1999.

''Had I remained Chief Minister for the full five year term, such a crisis situation would not have developed in Delhi'', he said, regretting he had not listened to the counter-advice given by other Sangh veterans Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Rajju Bhaiyya then.
