'Ramlala' security beefed up for 'Ramnavmi Mela'
Ayodhya, UP, Mar 30 (UNI) Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the 'Ramlala' temple at Ram Janmabhoomi complex here in view of the 'Chaitra Ramnavmi Mela' starting tomorrow.
''This time we have deployed three times the normal strength of police force at the makeshift temple,'' Police Superintendent (City) V D Shukla said here today.
The administration has deployed additional 20 sub inspectors, 50 head constables and 150 constables at the 'Ramlala'.
Intelligence sleuths have also been put into service near the disputed site.
All the vehicles entering and leaving Faizabad district would be properly registered alongwith the name of the driver, he informed.
Barriers have been installed at vital points in Faizabad.
