Labour Rights Mela in Bokaro

Bokaro, Mar 30 (UNI) The first-of-its-kind four-day Labour Rights Mela, organised jointly by some government organisations and trade unions, would be held here from April 2 rpt 2.

According to convenor of the organising committee D C Gohai, the aim and objective of the mela was to educate unorganised and contract labourers about their rights.

The labourers from Jharkhand, Orissa, Chhatishgarh and Asom would participate in the mela.

The mela would be addressed among others by labour leader D G Monohar, Medha Patekar and Swami Agnivish.
