Haryana govt 3-member committee for land acquisition

Chandigarh, Mar 30 (UNI) The Haryana Government has constituted a three member committee of ministers to make recommendations to the government for release of land under the Land Acquisition Act for development of estates or colonies.

The estates and colonies are those being developed by Haryana State Industrial Development Corporation (HSIDC) or Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) or any other agency for which land has been acquired or being acquired by the Department of Industries and Commerce or by Director, Urban Estates.

The Ministers included in the committee are Mr Vinod Sharma, ower and Public Works Department (Building and Roads) and Environment Minister, Mrs Kartar Devi, Health Minister and Mr Lachhman Das Arora, Industries Minister, an offical release here today said.

The committee will consider all those cases which are under litigation on account of acquiring left out pockets of land in Dundahera in Gurgaon district. The committee will decided all these cases within one month and after giving proper hearing to the petitioners and the indenting agency that is HSIDC.

The committee will also consider all other cases which are under litigation and where the acquisition proceedings are pending.

The committee will decided the representations made by the land owners and also provide them personal hearings to explain why their land should be released.
