Hardcore millitant nabbed

Imphal, Mar 30: A hard core cadre of Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) was apprehended by Imphal East Police.

Police sources said he was in the fighting group of the outfit.

Meanwhile, the Kangleipak Muslim Chanura Development Organisation has alleged that Md Alam Azad, general secretary of All Manipur Muslim Organisation Coordinating Committee, was summoned by Assam Rifles and later apprehended for possessing ganja.

The organisation claimed that Azad was innocent.
