Elaborate bandobust made for AP CM's visit to EG dist
Rajahmundry, Mar 30 (UNI) Elaborate security arrangements are being made in connection with the two-day visit of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy to East Godavari district beginning from April one.
District Superintendent of Police Naveen Chand said in view of the security problems only important VIPs would be allowed to enter the helipads at Madurapudi, Kapileswarapuram, West Kandiriga, Pasarlapudi, Annampalli and Vakapaludi.
He said vehicles would not be allowed in the opposite direction during the movement of Chief Minister's convoy. Motorcycles would also not be allowed to follow the convoy, he added.
Mr Naveen Chand said besides senior police officers, large number of police constables and home guards would be deployed during the Chief Minister's stay in the district.
