Eight killed and twenty others injured in road accident

Davanagere, Karnataka, Mar 30 (UNI) Eight persons including three women were killed and another 23 persons were injured when a private bus in which they were travelling met an accident with a Karnataka State Road Corporation bus near Hebbal on National Highway four about 20 km from here today.

Police said that seven people killed on the spot and another succumbed to injuries in District Hospital. The mishap occured when the unfartunate victims were on the way to Davangere from Bangalore.

the KSRTC bus was on the way to Chitradurga from Davangere. The injured have been admitted to District Hospital, and one peron condition is critical. Senior police officials vist the spot.
