Chargesheet against DDC of Supaul

Patna, Mar 30 (UNI) Bihar Vigilance Investigation Bureau has submitted chargesheet against Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) of Supaul Chandramohan Choudhary and two others in a case of corruption.

The case is related to financial irregularities committed in allotment of houses under Indira Awas Yojna in District Rural Development Authority (DRDA), Supaul.

The vigilance sleuths spotted unaccounted lakhs of rupees in DRDA office of Supaul in a raid conducted on January 28 this year.

Director of Supauls DRDA Mundrika Chaudhary and Nazir Prabhakar Lal Das were among the other chargesheeted accused.

All the three chargesheeted accused are currently lodged in the jail.

Another incarcerated accused in the case, an assistant Bachaneshwar Jha was not sent up for trial.

The vigilance has filed a petition in the court with a prayer to make Mr Jha as an approver in the case.
