'Aura' claims Sandur Cup

Bangalore, Mar 30 (UNI) Second favourite 'Aura' (Y S Srinath up) won the Sandur Cup, the main event of the Bangalore winter races, today.

The winner is the joint property of Ms Asha Bhat and Mr Berjis Minoo Desai, and trained by Sriram Komandur.

While Jockey Y S Srinath scored a treble, K P G Appu got a double. Trainers S Narredu and Arjun Mangalorkar scored a brace each.

Five favourites obliged punters in a card of eight events.
