Arms, IED recovered in Jammu region
Jammu, Mar 30 (UNI) The security forces recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from Banola five kms north of Mendhar in Poonch district today.
According to sources, security personnel recovered a gas cylinder, which contained an AK 56 rifle, three AK magazines, 90 rounds AK ammunitions, five hand grenades, one smoke grenade, 10 mine detonators, nine anti pers mine and 08 metres cable were found at 1100 hrs..
In anoter incident, based on information from own sources, security forces recovered improved explossive device (IED) from a natural cave at gun, 15 kms south west of Doda district at 1500 hrs, which included three kgs explosive, one remote control and metal sharpnel.
