52 passengers of 'Karvaan-e-Aman' cross sides

Srinagar, Mar 29 (UNI) About 52 passengers from both sides crossed the Line of Control (LoC) as the ''Karvaan-e-Aman'' (Caravan of Peace) bus resumed journey after remained suspended for about a month due to adverse climatic conditions on the other side of the LoC.

A defence spokesman said that the bus left with 28 passengers from here this morning while 24 crossed over to this side from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).

He said the passangers from here included 24 residents of PoK while 4 were residents from this side crossing over to other side to meet their relatives.

24 passengers from other side, including 15 residents of PoK who crossed to LoC for the first time to meet their relatives here while nine were residents of this side returning from PoK.
