New Delhi, Mar 30 (UNI) Police today arrested two persons in connection with the alleged gangrape of a 16-year-old in Sarita Vihar area of South Delhi.
The girl, who did embroidery work at her Shaheen Bagh residence in Sarita Vihar, was reportedly lured by her neighbour, also a minor, to his home yesterday afternoon and raped by him and two of his friends, according to sources.
However, the police today arrested the two 'friends' of the main accused, who was absconding.
Medical reports confirmed the rape.
In her statement, the victim said she was called by her neigbour to his house at about 1330 hrs yesterday, who bolted the door and forced her to take sedatives after which she was raped by him and two others who were already sitting there.
She also said before bolting the door, a child who was present inside was sent out by the main accused.
Senior officials however refused to confirm the incident.
