Widow gang raped by five-member gang

Davangere, Mar 29 (UNI) A 35-year-old widow was gang raped by a five-member gang near Harapanahalli, about 60 km from here.

Police said the culprits had abducted the woman from her house and committed the crime near a poultry farm on Monday night.

On a complaint filed by the woman yesterday, the police arrested three of the accused and produced them before the district and sessions court judge who remanded them in judicial custody.

Police were on the look out for the other two culprits.
