Umemployed 39-year-old commits suicide

New Delhi, Mar 29 (UNI) A 39-year-old man today allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the roof of the District Centre in Janakpuri area of West Delhi this afternoon.

Sunil, a resident of 'B' Block Janakpuri, reportedly jumped from the District Centre's rooftop at about 1545 hrs, according to sources.

The youngest of three sons of Sant Ram Sodhi, Sunil had been unemployed for the past six months after he was retrenched from his job in a hotel.

Family sources said Sunil left home at about 1500 hrs and the news of his death reached them at 1600 hrs.

No suicide note has been found and neighbours said that he had been disturbed for some time.
