Two HM militants surrendered before Army
Jammu, Mar 29 (UNI) Two hardcore militants of Pakistan-based militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen surrendered before the Army in Poonch district this morning.
According to sources, two Pakistan trained ultras javed (20) and Abdul Hameed (19) laid down their arms and ammunition before senior Army officials at 1000 hrs today.
The militants were active since 2001 when the terrorist outfit abducted them and brought to Pakistan. They handed over one ak 47 rifle, two AK magazines, 30 rounds of ak ammunition, six grenades and one pistol.
The Army officers hoped more misguided youth of the region who have joined militancy would take the cue from the surrendered ultra and rejoin the main stream.
