Two Hizbul militants surrender in Poonch

Jammu, Mar 29 (UNI) Two hardcore militants of Pakistan-based Hizbul Mujahideen today surrendered before the Army in Poonch district.

According to sources, Javed, 20 and Abdul Hameed, 19, laid down their arms before the senior Army officials at 1000 hrs.

Having been trained in Pakistan, the duo was active in the area since 2001.

They also handed over one AK-47 rifle, two AK magazines, 30 rounds, six granades and one pistol.
