Sonia resigned out of political compulsion: AIADMK leader

Pondicherry, Mar 29 (UNI) AIADMK state secretary A Anbazhagan MLA today criticised AICC general secretary V Narayanasamy for his statement terming the resignation of Sonia Gandhi as MP and Chairperson of National Advisory Council as a 'sacrifice.' Addressing a press conference here, he said Mrs Gandhi had resigned out of political compulsions. The people had not forgotten the drama enacted by her by 'rejecting' the PM's post after all her efforts failed. This people would also not accept the second drama enacted now.

He said utter confusion prevailed in the Congress-DMK front and the caders were still not aware whether the parties were fighting in alliance or alone.

The people of Pondicherry would teach a lesson to the Congress and DMK for the corruptions of the Congress government and the DMK supporting it. he added.
