Reliance launches seamless international roaming

Chennai, Mar 29 (UNI) Reliance Infocomm today launched seamless inter-standard international roaming service '1World 1Number' with single number on international CMDA and GSM networks.

The service means that even when Reliance customers are roaming on a GSM network, the caller line identification of the customer would still be his/her Reliance number, a company release here said.

Reliance is the first telecom operator in the country to launch this service, which would be a huge bonus for customers as they would no longer have to resort to call-forwarding when travelling from a CDMA network to GSM network and vice-versa, the release said.

'With eleven major CDMA networks and 340 GSM networks covered under the 1World 1Number service, Reliance now becomes the number one service provider in India in terms of offering the widest international roaming coverage and lowest roaming rates,' it said.
